Year 8 Parents Evening - Thursday 26th February 2026 from 3.30pm - 6.30pm

We offer a hybrid approach to Parents Evenings at HDHS, whereby you can make face to face or video call appointments with your child's subject teachers to discuss their progress in each subject.

The booking system opens 8am on Thursday 12th Feb and closes 9am Thursday 26th February 2026.

Appointments must be made via our Parents’ Evening System; there's nothing to download or install - simply login to the Parents’ Evening System below using the same email address we hold on record for you.

You can make a maximum of eight appointments, please choose carefully which teachers you would like to meet.  Please be aware that some teachers teach several classes and may not have enough appointment slots on the evening.  In this case we will endeavour to contact parents/carers at another time.

After submitting your own and your child's details you can then select which teachers you would like appointments with.

Please be advised that all appointments are  booked as video appointments.  Should you wish to attend in-person, please add a message in the "appointment message" box to confirm you will be attending in school.

Video appointments: Appointment times are 5 minutes, with an automatic cut off after this time. 

Face to Face:  Appointment times are 5 minutes, held in K and J Block. Parents should register at Reception and will be directed to the classroom; please wait outside of the classroom until the teacher is ready for your appointment.

You will receive a reminder email approximately an hour before your appointments start. This email contains the link required to start your video appointments. You will still receive this email even if you have made face to face appointments.
