LITFLIX: Week 4

Written by Belinda Gosling on . Posted in Archived News, Parent News, Promoted News, School News, Student News

Every week there are films being shown across all channels that can support the study of English Literature and Language. Every week we will release HDHS LITFLIX recommendations which will consist of some details of films being shown weekly that can support the HDHS English curriculum. If it leads to reading any of the books, even better!  We would also love students to send us film reviews of any the HDHS LITFLIX films. Film reviews can be sent to Mr Gallagher at raymond.gallagher@hdhs.school

Free School Meals E-mail Scam

Written by Belinda Gosling on . Posted in Archived News, Parent News, Promoted News, School News, Student News

Dear Parents/Carers

If you are in receipt of the FSM vouchers through the voucher system we are currently using, I need to warn you of a scam which is underway across the country.

If you receive an email stating the following:

‘As schools will be closing, if you’re entitled to free school meals, please send your bank details and we’ll make sure you’re supported’

I can confirm that this is a scam email and is not official. We urge parents that if you receive any emails like this, please do not respond, and delete it immediately.

Yours faithfully

Mrs Finch, Headteacher
