At Harwich and Dovercourt High School we want you to feel as much a part of your children’s education as possible. With the increased use of smart phone technology we want to make best use of it. MyEd is the free parent app that gives you a number of communication and information features to stay in touch with what is going on at school.
The app gives you direct access to your child’s timetable, behaviour record and will help you keep the links to ParentPay, Show my Homework and the new Parents Evening booking system in one place on your mobile. We are able to send messages directly to the MyEd app relating to important information about your child’s education and to remind you of events that are taking place at school. You will receive a notification if we send you a message and there is no charge for the messages you send to us. The MyEd app is available for both Apple iOS and Android devices and can be found using the links below:
Step 1 – Go to your App Store
Step 2 – Search for My Ed
Step 3 – Download the Free app
Please note that if downloading the app on an iPad, you need to go to the App Store and change the settings (top left of the search page) from “iPad only” to “iPhone only” and then search for MyEd.
Once you have installed and opened MyEd, search for HARWICH and follow the simple instructions to identify yourself. Your child’s details will appear on the app the following day. Please note your details (email address/mobile phone number) must match the information we hold on our system. If you are unsure please contact the school.
