  • Resilience and raising aspirations
  • Higher Education
 Year 10
  • Race for Life where students will be learning about cancer and how the disease spreads.
  • Careers guidance with the Department of Work & Pensions Including Introduction to the World of work, CV writing & interview skills
  • Sex & relationship education
 Year 11
  • Careers guidance – all students offered 1:1 independent careers guidance
  • Study skills
  • Transition
KLIC students are also studying First Aid, Food hygiene, working with the Department of Work and Pensions developing their work life skills and had a number of informative guest speakers; including RSPCA.
In addition, all our students participate in weekly classes focussing on a wide range of  Spiritual, Moral Social and Cultural (SMSC) education developed to promote, foster and encourage our students SMSC.  Our students are given the opportunity to investigate of a range of fascinating topics; including Epicurean philosophy. aspirations  and morality.
