PSHEe Programme Spring Term 2018-2019

This term in PSHE we are learning about;
 
Year 7
E safety, Healthy eating, Sleep, Knife crime. CPR, GROW & British Values
Year 8
Sex and relationship education; including Choosing positive relationships and Contraception and British Values
HPV vaccination
Year 9
Aspirations, Motivation, Career paths, Transferable skills, Money Matters, Life Skills and British Values
Vaccinations – Diphtheria, Tetanus, Polio and Meningitis
Year 10
Aspirations, Motivation, Career paths, Transferable skills, Money matters, Life Skills and British Values
Year 11
Aspirations, Motivation, Career paths, Transferable skills, Money matters, Life Skills, Careers interviews, Brilliant Club and British Values.
Targeted students have been working with the Department of Work and Pensions developing their work life skills.
Sixth Form
Aspirations, Motivation, Transferable skills, Money matters and  CPR.
KLIC students are also studying First Aid, Food hygiene, working with the Department of Work and Pensions developing their work life skills and had a number of informative guest speakers; including RSPCA.
In addition, all our students participate in weekly classes focussing on a wide range of  Spiritual, Moral Social and Cultural (SMSC) education developed to promote, foster and encourage our students SMSC.  Our students are given the opportunity to investigate of a range of fascinating topics; including Epicurean philosophy. aspirations  and morality.
