As part of Project Enlightenment rolled out by Essex Police on 1st May 2019,  it was proposed that the police should increase it’s links with schools in Tendring. This is something that we were keen to be involved with.  We therefore, arranged to trial regular visits from colleagues in the Community Policing Team during the last half term. The aim, to keep our students safe by providing a way in which they access the police safely, to express their needs, build trust and encourage greater involvement in safeguarding and mitigation of risk. As anticipated, our students responded well and it was deemed to be a such success that we are continuing the partnership this year. Every 3 weeks PC Potter and PCSO Robinson will hold a Police Surgery for students (appointment only) and student Meet and Greet around school at lunchtime .
Next visits: Thursday 19th September, Tuesday 12th November and Monday 9th December.

Attendance letter to parents

Written by Belinda Gosling on . Posted in Promoted News

Regular attendance at school is essential to promote the education of students and achieve these high standards. We know that presence in school is essential if students are to achieve their potential, and therefore, our expectation is that your child is in school every day that the school is open and arrives to school punctually.
