Red Nose Day Friday 15 March 2019

Written by Belinda Gosling on . Posted in Archived News, School News

Red Nose Day 2019 is just around the corner and we’ve decided to join in the fun.

To raise money, we’re going to have a non-uniform day on 15th March 2019 where we ask every student to donate £1 for comic relief. This year’s theme is ‘SPORTSWEAR’.

It is a normal day for lessons and as such please ensure you child still brings the correct equipment for their lessons: this will be checked during tutor time.

There will also be cake stalls and a sweet shop on the day so they may need some small change too.

The money we raise will be used to change countless lives, both here in the UK and worldwide.

In fact, just £3 could pay for crayons, pencils, paint and paper for children living in a Serbian refugee camp. £10 could cover the cost of 10 hot meals for a homeless person in the UK.

We’ll also be using Red Nose Day as a learning opportunity to help our pupils explore the issues facing young people across the world, and how the money we raise can help.

We really appreciate your support and hope that you’ll have fun helping us raise lots of money for Red Nose Day.
