Written by Belinda Gosling on . Posted in Archived News, Parent News, School News, Student News

1. Try out HegartyMaths.com.  All you need is your first name, last name and your date of birth to get started.
2. Complete the A3 sheet you were given by your teacher and be prepared to return it in September in your first lesson back. This will be Tuesday for A band and Thursday for B band. The maths on the back is for you to complete if you just not sure where to begin.
3. Enjoy yourselves and relax. You have a challenging, but rewarding, year ahead of you.
Regards,
Mr Bacon
P.S. – There will be 10 small prizes waiting for the students that have completed the most questions on HegartyMaths.com. 2000 questions have already been answered.

January 2018 – Year 9 & 10 students studying Romeo and Juliet

Written by Stephanie Laimbeer on . Posted in School News

As from January 2018 Year 9 and 10 students will be studying ‘Romeo and Juliet’, which is a GCSE text and included in the GCSE English Literature exam they will be sitting. The school provides the texts in lessons, however to support this it would be useful for students to have their own copies of ‘Romeo and Juliet’ texts to write notes in and to highlight important quotes. There are various copies available in shops or via the internet and there is not a specific copy that is needed.

If you have any questions, please contact me using the school phone number. Thank you for your support. Head of English
