The Year 7 Rugby team welcomed Colne to HDHS. The game started at a frantic pace with Harwich pressing and closing the space well. This lead to the first try within 3 minutes from Lex Walls. This set the tone for the game with Harwich being first to every break down and capitalising at every opportunity. Charlie Smith and Harley Cipov performed excellently and used the ball wisely. This lead to the score at half time being HDHS 30-0 Colne.
With tries score from Lex Walls (4), Tom Stacey (1) and Sam Parker (1). Colne came out strongly in the second half which had Harwich on the defensive. Korben Burdis, Ryan Birch and Jack Desmond had to work really hard and put in some technically brilliant tackles to halt Colne. Harwich managed to run in another 3 tries. Congratulations to a couple of players making their debuts for the school Michael Keeley and Alex Leaford.
